Studio placements take place for 8 months a year, providing two artists at a time with studio space to develop new work and connect with the creative community of artists that make up Mint Art House together with connections to the Level Up Arts and Culture team.
Please note: early career artist, as defined by the National Association for Visual Arts (NAVA), is beyond a hobby artist, is an arts graduate or similar, and is actively committed to their professional arts practice.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you need to be:
Early career visual artists aged 18 to 30 years old
A Gold Coast resident
Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
Available to commit to a 8 month studio placement
Available to attend scheduled catch up meetings
*Previous recipients of the Mint Art House Residency are not eligible to apply.
