Join resident pyrographer Emily Rose Hastie for a guided wood burning study of a beloved Australian icon, the koala.
In this session Emily will guide you with the chisel tip, a versatile tool for creating tone, texture and fine detail, practising technique before you move onto your own canvas. Some drawing confidence is helpful but no wood burning experience is needed.
All materials included: wood burning kit, pine panel, and drawing materials.
$90 per person | Maximum 7 participants
Please note while this workshop is conducted with open doors and airflow, the tool does produce some smoke so participants are welcome to bring a mask and/or eye protection. If you have respiratory sensitivities, asthma or are pregnant, please consult your GP before attending.
